The Force Secretary, AIG Usman Alkali Baba has commended the progress made so far by the Police Campaign Against Cultism and other Vices, (POCACOV) in the fight against cultism in the country.
AIG Alkali gave this commendation during his decoration at the Force Headquarter with POCACOV branded T-shirt.
He described POCACOV steady stride in the fight against cultism as a great effort and stated that Cultism was one of the crimes he fought headlong when he was the Commissioner of Police in Delta state.
The Force Sec praised the Inspector General Of Police for the initiative and urged the leadership of POCACOV to continue the campaign, as he pledged his support and continued collaboration for POCACOV progarms.
AIG Usman Alkali Baba used the opportunity to call on all Nigerians, especially parents to support the initiative and emphasized that “we don’t need cultism at all and we need to eradicate it or reduce it to its bear less minimal”.
