The number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Nigeria is heading to 40,000 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC said four hundred and thirty eight (438) new cases of the virus was recorded in Nigeria.
The NCDC announced via their social media handle that the new cases were reported as follows;

The total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria now stands at thirty nine thousand nine hundred and seventy seven (39, 977), 16,948 has been discharged and the number of deaths increased to 856.
