Fidelity Advert

•Asks them to vacate their seats

Protest by angry women from Nsukka local government council rocked the community on Monday against what they described as ‘poor performance’ of the duo of Senator representing Enugu North at the upper chamber, Chukwuka Utazi and member representing Igboeze South/Nsukka federal constituency at the lower chamber, Hon. Pat Asadu.

The women who came out in their numbers for the demostration against their representatives at the National Assembly asked the duo to resign and vacate their seats over their alleged poor performance and representation.

Fliers and banners bandied by the women read: “Sen. Utazi stop Bible quotation and show us your achievements; Pat Asadu stop using our children to achieve your selfish political interest; Enough is Enough; Pat Asadu show us your achievements after 16yrs at the National Assembly,” amongst others.

Recall that on the 5th of September, the Concerned Uzo-Uwani Youth Movement had passed a vote of no confidence on Senator Utazi representing them at the Senate, Hon. Martins Okeh of the House of Reps. and Hon. Okika of the Enugu State House of Assembly because of their alleged poor representations.
