The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District at the upper chamber on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has made history as he empowered some selected members of his constituency with Cassava tubers, frying pans, local sieve, etc.
The beneficiaries were drawn from across the four Local Government areas in the senatorial district.
Senator Oloriegbe currently occupies the seat that was hitherto maned by the immediate past President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki who lost his reelection bid to return to the red chamber at the last general election.
The action of senator Oloriegbe is generating reactions on social media as some aggrieved constituents are asking the senator if this is how he intends to outshine the past senate president within one year as he boasted during the campaign.
