ESUT Ex-Students Leaders Association, EESLA (EESLA), has assured Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of their unalloyed loyalty, solidarity and partnership, considering the antecedents of the governor as a one time Student Union leader at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, UNEC wherein he was a member of the Students Union House of Representatives.
The former students of the State University expressed their support to the governor during their solidarity visit.
Speaking at the solidarity visit, the President of EESLA, Comrade Engineer Eneiga assured the governor of the group’s support behind his peace initiatives and developmental strides in the state.
Similarly, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, EESLA, Comrade Uche Anyanwu re-echoed the message of solidarity and loyalty to the Ugwuanyi-led administration.
All the members present, unanimously applauded Ugwuanyi for the appointment of the SUG Speaker Emeritus, Barr. Henry Nnanna Okeke, one of their own as Special Assistant to the governor.
The governor, in his characteristic penchant for humility and mentorship accepted the role of Grand patron of EESLA.
With a standing ovation, EESLA members thanked the governor for his efforts in youths empowerment, security, rural development, health, etc.
