The people of Eziowa Aguobu Owa in Ezeagu Local Government Area has passed a vote of confidence to the administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi following his efforts on people and rural community oriented projects in the State.

The people stated this during the inauguration ceremony of their town union executives held recently at the Ministry of Rural Development, State Secretariat, Enugu.

Addressing the Town Union Executives, the Honourable Commissioner representing the ministry, Prince Emeka Mamah, explained that the plans of the governor was to see all community leaders, traditional rulers and Town Union Executives work in close synergy to ensure peace, security and socio-economic development of their community.

Based on this, he urged them to be committed to the mandate given to them by their people and ensure they display the spirit of team work, transparency, accountability and all inclusive leadership.

Responding, Chief Victor Okafor, President General on behalf of his members thanked the state government for improving town union activities through the Ministry of Rural Development.

He, however, promised to use their expertise and past experiences, with team work, to drive and attract development in Eziowa Aguobu Owa community.

The Town Union executives members are; Chief Victor Okafor, President General, Ichie Uzendu Ephraim, Vice president, Hon. Okeke Innocent, Secretary General, Hon. Dr. Ikenna Okafor, Financial Secretary, Engr. Paschal O. Ozougwu, Assistant Secretary, Engr. Dr. Obuka Nwaemeka, Treasurer, Mr. Aniakor Christopher, Provost.

Others include: Jude Ezeh and Chikelu Nicholas C. both Public Relations Officers.
