“This exercise has really exposed the strength of the APC in Nkanu East because we are running out of materials. People are joining the party in their numbers and we are requesting for more materials from the National working committee.”

“APC have become the party to go to because the people have seen the aggressive infrastructural development strides of the party in the country and South East in particular,” Princess Ogbu said.

She assured that she will continue to mobilise people to join the party and thanked the party leadership for the honour of attending her revalidation of her membership of the party.

Also speaking, Barr. Michael Ugwa, the Ag. Chairman of the revalidation Committee in Enugu state said the exercise is symbolic and will help give Igbos a better footing in the party as 2023 general election approaches.

“This exercise is symbolic because its legitimate and in accordance with the provisions of the party’s consultation. Its legitimate, bona-fide and legal”

Describing the members of the party at the grassroot as “Fishers of men”, Barr. Ugwa said their roles in the party is very vital and “will help the quest for Igbo Presidency. We can’t talk about Presidency if we don’t have the numbers and this registration has afforded us the opportunity to increase our number in the party and stand a better chance,” he said.

The state Chairman of the party, Barr. Dr. Ben Nwoye led other leaders of the party in the state to witness the exercise.
