The ongoing Nigeria Nationwide league one involving some Division one clubsides within Okigwe centre at Okigwe Township Stadium, Imo state has attracted the presence of the entire technical crew of Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia at the centre to see the best of grassroot football and exhibitions by young fresh legs from NLO clubsides playing at the centre and drawn from other states, including Cross River, Abia and Anambra states as well as Enugu.
At the Okigwe centre which serves as the home ground for Abia Warriors FC of Umuahia, the technical crew of Abia Warriors comprising the goal keeper trainer Shaibu and Coach Ernest and other top members of the crew were sited at different occasion enjoying the game as it is being rolled at the Okigwe turf.
Baring his mind after one of the encounters at the centre, the Tecnical Adviser Abia Warrior FC Umuahia, Imama Amakapagbo expressed satisfaction with the level of play and the organization at the centre and commended NLO for the organization.
“I can see great future players here, they are talented and young and can deliver the goods. They need to remain focus this time in order to get to the top. I like the organizations here at Okigwe centre and I commend NLO,”he said.
