Chimaobi Ebisike, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has been declared winner of the bye-election for Aba North and South federal constituency held on Saturday, 27th March, 2021.
The bye-election was as a result of the death of the members representing the federal constituency, Rt. Hon Ossy Prestige after a protracted illness.
In the result of the election as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, the APC scored 3674 votes while the PDP garnered 10322 votes thus, declared winner of the election while the APGA, the party of late Prestige came a very distant third with 1554 votes.
