The Councillor representing Ogbia ward 2 in Bayelsa state, Hon. Onem Tyna Miracle State has reduced the age long suffering of her people as she used the money meant for her official car to build a bridge linking two communities in her Ogbia LGA of Bayelsa State
Hon. Tyna who’s also the Deputy Majority Leader of Ogbia LGA said the project is the only was she could touch the lives of her people.
According to her, they were given some fund to embark on different ward projects as councilors.

This has brought untold hardship to our people and affected economic activities in the area negatively.”
“I met with the Community chiefs and told them i would like to embark on the said bridge project, rather than any other project that will not directly impact the lives of our people. They reminded me that the money for the project is beyond what was given to us. But I was determined to give it a trial.
“I said to myself, if this is the only thing i can do for the people as their councilor, then I must see to its completion.”
She narrated that when they project was about to be stalled as a result of lack of fund, she remembered we were also given money to buy official cars.

Well done dear Honourable Councillor. If only we have many others with your kind of heart at various levels this country will not be the same. However, I hope the bridge is toll free not a way of making money for self and community chiefs.
