Enugu State government through the Small and Medium Enterprises Centre, Enugu SME Centre, has said they are bringing A-list players in the fashion industry to train or improve fashion Designers in the state for free.
The SME Center which has been in the Frontline of youth development in the areas of skill acquisition, entrepreneurship skill developed and capacity building through her programme ‘Enugu Skill Acquisition Masterclass (ESAM) plus’ will be training new and intending fashion designers.
Speaking about the training themed ‘Fashion-Building the commercial dream’, the Special Adviser to Enugu State Governor on Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), Arinze Chilo Offiah said:
“Wether you are a beginner or have 3 years of experience in the fashion industry, you would realise that no matter how much you know, there is always something new to learn from A-list entrepreneurs in your industry.
“Now, this is where the challenge lies; accessing A-list entrepreneurs with knowledge of how the fashion industry works is never easy due to their busy schedules.
“And to help Ndi-Enugu small business owners in the fashion industry grow, the Enugu State Government through the Agency has put together the Enugu Skill Acquisition Masterclass ( ESAM Plus), where you gain access and learn from experts who have mastered the strings of building a successful fashion business free of charge; to promote SDG 1: No Poverty and SDG 8: Decent work and Economic Growth according to World Bank Standard.”
