President Muhammadu Buhari has, on Tuesday, presented the 2022-2024 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper (MTEF/FSP) to the Senate for consideration and approval.
This was disclosed in a letter read by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan on the floor of the Senate during plenary.
According to the letter, President Buhari said the early submission of the MTEF/FSP was to allow to lawmakers ample time to consider and pass the 2022 budget in December to meet up with the January-December budget circle.
