Fidelity Advert
Detained Igboho’s associates

On Monday, the Department of State Services, DSS, complied with a Federal High Court in Abuja’s July 29 ruling by producing 8 out of 12 aides of Yoruba secessionist leader Sunday Igboho before the court.

This came after the court issued a new order requiring the 12 detainees to appear in court today.

The suspects were transported to court in an 18-seater Toyota Hiace Bus with the number Abuja 785 KWL, according to NEWS DIRECT.

The inmates were also transported under strong security guard by DSS personnel, according to our source.

Due to the non-arrival of the DSS counsel in court, the suspects were still being held in the bus at the inner car park of the court grounds at the time of this report.

Mr Idowu Awo, a DSS lawyer, was alleged to be stuck in traffic in an unidentified area.

Following an appeal by DSS lawyer Mr Idowu Awo, Justice Obiora Egwuatu granted a new order on July 29 giving the agency until today to comply with the decision.
