The President of Dynamite Fighting Championship (DFC) Africa, Amb Henry George has identified the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) as a veritable partner in the quest of the repositioning of the mindsets of Nigeria Young Minds for Self Discovery and Strategic leadership leadership direction.
He disclosed this while briefing the National Coordinator POCACOV CSP Ebere Amaraizu on the readiness of his organization to partner with POCACOV to offer a platform of self discovery and strategic leadership direction to teeming Nigerian abundant talents through the game of Mixed Martial Arts which is globally gathering momentum.
Amb. George also commended the Nigerian Police Force on POCACOV initiative which he said, he has followed up till now and have understood that it’s not just as a community driven program but a program that touches on Core mandate of Dynamite Fighting Championship.
According to Amb Henry George who is also the president of Nigeria Mixed Martial Arts Federation and the international representative of world martial Arts Council and World Mauythai Organization (WMO Nigeria), “POCACOV is using Sports as advocacy tool to engage and inspire young minds for greater society and that’s what we also do.
“We use combat sports to inspire and motivate young people against Cultism, criminality and other vices.We help young minds to become champions and an assets to the Nation.
“DFC is about realization of dreams,hope for the youth and to create positive impact.
He disclosed that the upcoming DFC Africa mixed Martial Arts event which will be in partnership with POCACOV in Rivers State will create robust platform for self discovery and strategic leadership direction for young minds from various Neighbourhood.
Responding, the National Coordinator of POCACOV, CSP Ebere Amaraizu thanked Amb Henry George for identifying and believing in the initiative POCACOV as a veritable partner towards impacting on the youths and changing their thought to greatness.
Amaraizu also assured that “POCACOV will stop at nothing at ensuring that the Upcoming Mixed Martial Arts program in Rivers state yield its desired objectives as we intend to discover more Kamoru Usman and Adesanya.
“We will ensure that through activity base program like this, young minds will be made to channel their energy and strength wisely and positively devoid of violent exhibitions and involvement into social vices but for a greater society.”
