Obadiah Mailafia, a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria is Dead.

According to a source, the 64-year-old former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) died at the National Hospital Abuja.

Obadiah Mailafia was born on December 24, 1956.

Obadiah Mailafia became more popular after he granted a radio interview linking most top government officials of sponsoring terrorism in Nigeria.

After his interview, he was invited by the State Security Service for a record three times to defend his statements.

He has been a strong voice on the plan to Islamize Nigeria and the impending jihad in the country.

He was a Nigerian development economist, international polymath, central banker, statesman and the 2019 Nigeria Presidential election Candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) and a former official of the African Development Bank Group

He was also the Chief of Staff of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP), the 79-nation multilateral development institution based in Brussels, Belgium.
