The Enugu Affirmation

Following the Asaba 12-Resolutions, the Enugu Affirmation became imperative as a clarion call and reassurance of the Asaba Resolution. The Enugu Affirmation streams thus:

1. Anti- Open Grazing Laws.

2. Regional Security Outfits.

3. Fiscal Federalism.

4. VAT – Powers of the States.

5. Satisfaction on Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) and ownership of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)

6. Recognition and Endorsement of Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as the ” Shining Star” of the East.

7. Next President of Nigeria must come from the Southern part of Nigeria.

Indisputably, the Enugu Affirmation is centred on Nation Building, Peaceful Coexistence , Egalitarianism, Security and Welfare of the Citizenry.
