Nnamdi Kanu in handcuffs

Barr. Aloy Ejimakor, the special counsel to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has given an insight on how any negotiation with Nnamdi Kanu can be initiated and it will yield any fruit.

Though Ejimakor didn’t give any name, he said via his twitter account that “It’s unnatural to negotiate with a man in chains,” which suggests that he’s talking about his client who’s currently being held by the Department of State Services, DSS.

The lawyer also made reference to Mandela, Gandhi and Martin Luther King that all fought for their people’s freedom which Kanu said he’s also doing.

There has been several calls by some leaders from South East for the government to negotiate with Kanu but Ejimakor in his recent tweet:

“When a man is in detention & you wish to negotiate with him, the first step you take is to stop resisting every effort being made to release him from detention.

“That’s how they negotiated with Mandela, Gandhi & Martin Luther King. It’s unnatural to negotiate with a man in chains.”
