This is a chilling account of how an Igbo businessman, Engr Anoliefo Chukwujekwu was defrauded by Taraba state government after he supplied transformers worth N13.2 million.

Imagine the injustice that was meted out, after the govt of Taraba State used an associate & aid of Governor Darius Ishaku, Engr Habu Magaji (SA on power & electrification) to scam a business man Engr Anoliefo Chukwujekwu, the sum of 13.2 million naira, on transformer supply.
Since 2017 when the scam happened, all efforts made by the business man to getting justice, was truncated by the state govt, & associates of the state Governor.
But after coming on twitter, to cry in a viral video, where he called on Nigerians to help him, on the 3rd of Dec 2020, the govt & Governor of Taraba State reacted.
The Governor instructed his ADC, Yakubu to reach out to Engr Anoliefo Chukwujekwu, whose story of scam has gone viral on social media.
The govt invited him to the state, booking flight ticket for him through the ADC to the Governor.
On the 9th of December 2020, Engr Anoliefo Chukwujekwu left Abuja for Taraba, based on the invitation of the Taraba state government. Using an Overland Aircraft.
Which was documented in this video footage, and can be verified from the flight company independently.

He was invited to the govt House, to the office of the chief of staff to Gov Darius Ishaku, Barrister Haruna Gbana, on the 10th of Dec 2020, where he was threatened with arrest & imprisonment, if he doesn’t tender an unreserved apology to the Governor, over his viral video.
That the Gov is embarrassed, and some members of the @OfficialPDPNig whom he called upon in the video for help, especially @osita_chidoka, @atiku & @UcheSecondus are embarrassed. The govt can use the said 13.2 million naira to arrest & prosecute him, & nothing will happen.
That the governor has set up a committee to look into his case, to ascertain his claims.
And the committee will be sitting on that same date of his invitation, 10th of Dec 2020. & will embark on a fact finding mission, with some members, including him. To see the transformers.
That before he can get his pay, he must first of all, put down his verbal apology into writing, using his company’s letterheaded paper. Must disassociate Gov Darius Ishaku from the scam, & must promise to publish his apology letter on some national daily’s after payment.
The committee is headed by the Taraba State Attorney General/commissioner for justice,
Barrister Sam Ada.
Other members of the special committee includes, Barr. Istifanus Haruna Gbana chief of staff Taraba state government, Dr David ishaya kassis overseeing comm of rural & community development Taraba state, Mrs Abishag Dan-Habu secretary rural & community development, Mr Osborne Adi SA on media to the governor of Taraba state, Auwal Ibrahim. AG Dr rural electrification, Secretary of the Committee.
And so, the committee set out for their fact finding mission, as promised.

After confirming the transformers, the committee retreated for the day, & Engr Anoliefo Chukwujekwu, was officially checked into Shield hotel, by the Taraba State government, as a govt House guest. But unknown to him, that place was going to be his home for the next 11 months.
The committee sat, Engr Anoliefo Chukwujekwu and Engr Habu Magaji (Special adviser on power and electrification to governor Darius Ishaku) were summoned to appear before it.
Evidence were presented before them, as well as cross-extermination.
After back & forth, for two months, the committee instructed Engr Anoliefo Chukwujekwu to put down his apology to the Gov in writing, & submit to it.
Which was done on the 25th of February, 2021.
He had spent almost 3 months in Jalingo, celebrating both Christmas & the New year. 
After a long wait, the committee finally concluded her sitting/fact finding, & submitted her report to the state Governor, on the 16th of April 2021.
While waiting for him to act on the report, TWITTER was suspended on the 5th of June 2021, & the state govt took advantage of it.
They left Engr Anoliefo Chukwujekwu, to waste away in frustration, because they felt there is no consequence, as twitter has been suspended. So there is no way the image of the state government, or state governor could be tarnished through twitter any more.
The state government kept paying hotel bills for Engr Anoliefo Chukwujekwu, as government house guest, since Dec 10th 2020, to Sep 20th, 2021.
At 14,000 a night. Which was more than 3 million naira, when the money he was scammed on the transformer supply, was just 13.2 million.
The committee recommended that Engr Anoliefo Chukwujekwu should be paid his money since April 2021, but from insider info, we gathered that the governor after the twitter ban, told them he is not paying. That twitter has been ban, & the Engr is an Igbo man. Nothing will happen.
When the information got to Engr Anoliefo Chukwujekwu, he resorted to begging. That the state government should allow him take back his transformers, even if it is over 4 years in their hands. That he will manage to sell them as second-hand, to recover back some of the money.
The govt officials instructed security personnel to arrest him, anyday he is sighted around any of the installed transformers.
All efforts at getting his money, or knowing his faith officially through the govt has been truncated because he is an Igbo man, & twitter suspension.
Officials of the Taraba state government were waiting for him to leave the state out of frustration, so they can use that as excuse, not to pay him.
But when that did not work, Engr Anoliefo Chukwujekwu started seeing strange faces & unmarked cars, following him around.
Out of fear for his life, he ran away from the state on the 20th of September 2021.
We did our investigation, and saw secret copies of the committee report, which recommended payment for Engr Anoliefo Chukwujekwu.
Though it’s confidential, but i will post the cover as evidence.
Twitter Nigeria, hard working Nigerians, fellow Igbo brothers & sisters, comrades, this action of Taraba State govt & governor is a slap on our collective faces.
He can not use the suspension of twitter to bully a man that his aid scammed, neither should he use tribal sentiments.
