Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has revealed what he would have done had he lost the election.

Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, who was declared winner of the just concluded Anambra governorship election, said he would have gone to church for thanksgiving if the poll didn’t go in his favour.

Appearing on AriseTV’s ‘The Morning Show,’ the former CBN boss the contest had never been a do or die one for him thus, why he reverence God in everything, irrespective of the outcome while thanking God and Ndi Anambra for firmly and clearly making a loud statement concerning their preference of his person and party to handle their affairs in the next four years.

He said while he had been optimistic of victory, he was nonetheless prepared to accept any unfavourable outcome that reflected the true wish of the people of Anambra state, noting that he had always believed in the will of God to give and take favours at will.

Speaking further, he said when he contested and lost in 2007, he took it in good fate and went for a thanksgiving, appreciating God for His kindness and revealing what was His will for him then as nothing happened without God’s approval, thus, must be appreciated for everything that happened.

He said he would have still done so had he lost the election, and still would have congratulated the winner as he did in the past when even as the winner acknowledged the election was terribly flawed, he still congratulated him within an hour after the declaration of the result.
