Baring any last minute intervention from government quarters, there are plans to launch an emblem for 2022 without the authorisation of relevant government agencies.
JOURNALIST101 gathered that the contractor commissioned by the officials of the Anambra State Internal Revenue Board, is planning to launch the sell of 2022 emblem to unsuspecting drivers and transporters in Anambra State.
According to the text message inviting the general public to the launch of the 2022 emblem, the illegal activity will take place on November 24th.
The invitation reads:

“We are therefore by this message, urging the general public to avoid having anything to do with this illegality going on in the office of Anambra State Internal Revenue Board, on the strength that whatever business they entered on behalf of the state government will be rendered noll and void as soon the new administration of Prof Soludo comes into power.
“Anambra State Government Should Act now to stop this illegality, which has been brought to their notice by our previous publication or they will be seen as accomplice to these illegal emblem sells to unsuspecting drivers and transporters in Anambra State,” a transport leader who wished to remain anonymous said.
