Joao Moutinho’s late strike earns Wolves all three points as they devoured Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday.

It was United’s first game in the New Year and it ended up a calamity, with the visitors running away with a crucial victory.

Moutinho scored the winner on 82 minutes as he quickly got on to a rebound and slammed an amazing shot which beat the goalkeeper for Wolves’ victory.

A minute earlier, Wolves had appealed for a penalty after Daniel Podence went down under a challenge from the defender.

All players chase the referee but he’s not interested in the penalty claim.

On 75 minutes, Romain Saiss fired in a free kick from a promising position just outside the box, but it only rattled the crossbar.

Cristiano Ronaldo thought he had scored for United on 68 minutes, but his goal was ruled offside by the referee.

Also, Bruno Fernandes latched on to an accurate pass inside the box and fired a bullet of a shot that crashed against the crossbar.
