…Pledges Total Support For MDF

As part of the event at the famous South East Debate 2021,the Paramount Traditional Ruler of Mmmaku Kingdom His Royal Highness, Igwe Cyprian Nevobasi , “Ogilishigbo”, Ezeani III of Mmmaku Kingdom, (Omeluenyi Agunesse) recently received his prestigious Award from Monday Diamond Foundation as the *Royal Diaspora Ambassador of the Year of 2021*

Recall that on October 20th 2021, Monday Diamond Foundation hosted the most prestigious academic event in South East tagged; The SOUTH EAST DEBATE’21,an event that attracted eminent Nigerians from all works of life with topical issues that centered on Restructuring, Regional Agitation and Insecurity.

At the event,some distinguished Nigerians including Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe (First President of Nigeria),Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu (Fmr Ezigbo Gburugburu),His Excellency Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi the Executive Governor of Enugu State, among others were posthumously and meritoriously honoured by the NGO.

Making his speech during the Award presentation to the Influential Traditional Ruler,the CEO of MONDAY DIAMOND FOUNDATION who led the delegate to the Igwe’s Palace in Mmmaku Kingdom, Hon Monday Diamond Ani,who is also the Special Assistant to the Governor of Enugu State on Culture and Tourism and the Convener of the South East Debate 2021 eulogized Igwe Nevobasi for his royal ambassadorial roles towards the promotions and projection of Igbo culture and tradition across the shores of Africa, Europe and America which in turn prompted the management team to nominate him for this prestigious Award.

In his remark, Igwe Cyprian Nevobasi and his Igwe-in-Council who heartily welcomed the Management Team of MDF,after receiving his Award as the *Royal Diaspora Ambassador of the Year 2021* commended immensely the good humanitarian works and services being carried out by the NGO over time, especially on the angle of girl-child education, bursary awards, organization of academic events,and other notable humanitarian services.

While appreciating MDF for the honour, the much delighted Igwe Nevobasi deeply appreciated MDF for the honour but expressed regret over his inability to attend the prestigious academic event due to an inevitable occurrence that immediately took him out of the country.

However, Igwe Nevobasi pledged to give full support towards all subsequent humanitarian events to be organized by the Monday Diamond Foundation.

Other dignitaries at the event are the Executive Chairman of Awgu Local Government Area Hon Okwudiri Nwankwo, Prof Joe Ukemenam (Chairman Enugu Citizens in United Kingdom), Hon Tochuchkwu Ogbodo Special Assistant to the Governor, other Igwes and Council Chiefs, Chukwuma Ephraim Okenwa (LOC Chairman of the SED’21) and other Management Team of MDF.
