The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the Best XI in the just concluded 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.

The football body made the announcement after the the final match was played on Sunday between Senegal and Egypt.

The AFCON final tie ended with a goalless draw after 120 minutes but saw the Teranga Lions of Senegal defeat Egypt 4-2 on penalties at Yaoundé’s Olembé stadium in Cameroon, giving them their first ever AFCON title.
