…commend Gov. Ugwuanyi, PDP for the nomination of a saleable candidate
Less than twenty four hours (24hrs) to Enugu State’s Local Government Election, all officially recognized Youth and Student Organizations in Enugu South LGA have formally endorsed the candidature of Hon. Barr. Chimezie Robinson Nkwuo, of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) with his running mate, Hon. Sandra Akuabata Onyia FCPA.
The Coalition tagged Mezie Youth and Students Support Group(MYSSG) is made up of Enugu South LGA Chapters of the following organizations; Nkanu Youth Council (Led by Hon. Ogbodo Micheal), PDP Students Wing, Ohaneze Ndigbo Youth Wing (led by Comr. Igwesi Fidelis), National Union of Nkanu Students (led by Comr. Onyekachi Nsude) and National Youth Council of Nigeria (led by Comr. Chidubem Aroh AG), as members, took to the streets of Enugu metropolis to thank His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for instituting Peace, Equity, Justice and Fairness in their Local Government and to also canvas the support and vote of fellow youths and students towards the election of Hon. Barr. Chimezie Nkwuo scheduled to hold on Wednesday the 23rd of February, 2022.
In a statement released by the Secretary of the Coalition, Comr. Chidimma Juliet Ugwu, the Director General of MYSSG, Hon. Prince-will Ugwu, popularly known as “Voice of Enugu Youths”, the groups stated that their decision to form the coalition was based on their love for the youth inclusiveness, governance of equity and fairness being run by Gov. Ugwuanyi. Noting that Hon. Barr. Chimezie Nkwuo, as one of the brightest Youths of Enugu South extraction, is a square peg in a square hole.
The Leader of the Coalition, Hon. Prince-will Ugwu, who is also the PRO of Enugu Youth Council, while addressing pressmen on Sunday during the grand finale of the PDP LG Campaign said, “we have reached out to all the structures within the jurisdiction of our various organizations and have mandated our members to come out in large numbers to vote Hon. Chimezie on Wednesday and be prepared to support his administration massively, after the election because no individual endorsed by us has ever failed the youths and Students of Enugu South LGA.
“We also thank His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for putting the interest of young persons in Enugu state first in all he does. We pray that his successor will also continue in this path. Truly, we have never had it like this before. That is why we will continue to work with him, come rain, come shine!”, Hon. Prince-will said.
