The former PDP aspirant announced his decision at a ceremony held in Gwale LGA of the state.

According to him, PDP had failed its supporters.

He also said there is no difference between PDP and the All Progressives Congress (APC), adding that his decision to dump the opposition party was as a result of “the yearning of teeming supporters”.

On his part, Abdusalam announced his defection at a ceremony held at Gwarzo town.

He also said he was positive that the NNPP will “ensure that the yearnings and aspirations of teeming people will be actualised”.
