Tweeter users have Upbraided the senator representing Enugu West, Ike Ekweremadu, over his position that south-east should be given an extra state to enable them match with the rest of the country with regards to opportunities and other things.
The former deputy president of the senate had on Saturday, during a town hall meeting in Enugu state criticised the “lopsided” ratio, saying the geopolitical zone is being “shortchanged”
But his call for an additional state for the South East was met with all manner of criticism with some twitter users asking what he did when he headed the constitution review for 8 years.
For others, the call is just for political patronage as they accused him of making the demand because he’s contesting for Enugu Governor.
