The National youth leadership of All Progressive Congress party, has sued for calm amongst it’s members and supporters over the price for the purchase of party nomination forms for all the youth aspirants on the platform of the party ahead of 2023 general election.
Some young aspirants in the party had raised concern over the cost of nomination form of the party saying that it could affect their ambitions
But the Deputy National youth leader, Hon. Jamaludden Kabir in a media parley with journalists in Abuja, appealed to APC Youths for calmness, noting that “the national youth leadership and national working committee (NWC) of the party is putting strategies on ground in order to give the youth the needed opportunity and attention in making sure they are been carried along in scheme of activities and programmes of the party.
“We urged our young men and party youth stakeholders to remain calm as we continue to have fruitful discussions with the national leadership of our party, ably led by His Excellency Dist. Senator Dr. Abdulahhi Adamu over the party nomination form for our youth prospective aspirants.”
Hon. Jamaludden Kabir further stated that he “understand that our great party has approved for APC women free nomination form, but we believe in the capacity of the national Chairman of the greatest party in Africa and our gallant, articulate national youth leader Hon. Dayo Isreal to proffer solutions to our plea.
“I believe strongly in the national leadership of our party in re-affirming their commitment to the development of youth, through getting a better discount in the purchase of our party nomination forms.
“It has been the desire of our party leadership to ensure and facilitate youth participation in electoral process of our party and Nigeria in general.
He expressed optimism “that the national working committee of our party will come out with a definite structural design, that will be better for our youth vying for it’s ticket for various elective positions in the forthcoming party primaries and general election.”
“I appeal for every youth to understand that our party believes in us as key stakeholders in the Progress and policy making of the party .
“I urge all our party youth leaders, groups, stakeholders to keep faith in our party and remain strong that a better discount for party nomination form, will definitely put a smile in our faces and boost our morale to work more for the success of the party.
He also hailed the youths for their commitment to the party while stressing their commitment to President Muhammadu Buhari.
“The national deputy youth leader salutes the courage of APC Youth faithfuls and advise them to get practically ready, involve in the process and policies that will lead our party to victory in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
“The National youth leadership also affirm our unalloyed loyalty to President Muhammadu Buhari led administration in the country, who is the number one leader of the party. Our president believes also that youth is the greatest assets of our party and nation at large.”
