Fidelity Advert

A South African Pastor, Jay Israel Senior, has blasted the Senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center, Dr. Paul Enenche over certain issues surrounding the death of late Gospel singer, Mrs. Osinachi Nwachukwu.

Mrs Nwachukwu was a chorister with Dunamis church before she died as a result of the violence she suffered in the hands of her husband.

The South African pastor in a Facebook post on Sunday, accused Dr. Enenche of convincing Mrs Nwachukwu to remain in her marriage despite the physical assault she was passing through in the hands of her husband.

He asked, “Why did they convince sister Osie to stay in a very abusive marriage of this kind?
“why did they enjoy her ministry and ignored her pain ? Is that how true leaders do ?
“Why did Pastor Paul continually advised sister Osie to stay in the marriage ?
“Since they claim to be high and mighty with spiritual authority why didn’t they at least pray for the husband to change”?

Jay Isreal alleged that the last time she spoke with Mrs Nwachukwu on phone, she revealed to him how her pastor (Enenche), told her leaving the marriage will bring a bad image to the church.

“I say this because the sister told me the last time we spoke on the phone about how her pastors (Paul Enenche and wife) told her that if she left the husband it would bring a bad image to their church and dent their reputation since she was ministering there a lot.

“Now that she’s gone how is your reputation? Has the church become so evil that all we care about is our reputation over protecting someone we call our own from abuse?

“Mrs Nwachukwu died a gruesome death because she wanted to protect her pastor and the church.”

Expressing his frustration further, Jay Israel asked “NOW TELL ME HOW MANY WOMEN ARE SUFFERING IN CHURCHES BECAUSE THEIR HUSBANDS ARE IN VERY HIGH CHURCH POSITIONS AND CANNOT BE CALLED TO ORDER BECAUSE THE PASTOR FEARS LOSS IN TITHES AND OFFERINGS?

“How many women are stuck with abusive church men because of fear of what people will say.”

Criticizing the actions of some church leaders, the South African televangelist told them to: “Continue protecting your cults that you call churches.”
