The Enugu State primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is producing a lot of surprises as winners and losers are emerging in the just concluded state House of Assembly and House of Representatives.

For Udi/Ezeagu Federal Constituency, the former Chief of Staff to Enugu staff, Dr. FSA Uzor emerged the winner with a landslide as he humiliated the other aspirants in the contest.

Uzor, a former Deputy Speaker of Enugu State House of Assembly garnered ninety nine votes out of the possible one hundred twenty two votes.

Mr. Agana Afamefuna and Barr. Ode Adanma came second with 8 votes respectively.

In another development, Dr. Pat Asadu, member representing Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency won’t be returning to the green chamber as his bid to clitch the party’s ticket didn’t succeed.

Pat Asadu lost the ticket for a fifth term bid to the former chairman of PDP in Enugu State, Chief Vita Abba.

The member representing Nkanu East and West Federal Constituency, Pharm Nnoli Nnaji won his ticket to return to the House.
