A Son of former Governor of Ayodele Fayose, has won the ticket for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency, in Ekiti state.

The Ex-governor’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, also emerged as the PDP candidate for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II.

Joju Fayose, the son of former Governor picked the ticket for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency I during the primary held across federal constituencies in the state, on Sunday.

He polled 69 votes to defeat Deji Adeosun, who polled 9 votes.

Olayinka garnered 54 votes to beat his opponent, Victor Babafemi, who scored 45 votes.

In a similar development, a governorship aspirant, Otunba Yinka Akerele won the party’s ticket for the Ekiti North Federal Constituency II. He emerged unopposed.

In Ekiti North Federal Constituency II, Babatunde Ajayi polled 63 votes to defeat Fayose backed aspirant, Funmi Ogun, who had 33 votes.
