Hon. Osita Ngwu popularly known as RG has emerged as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate for Enugu west Senatorial District.
Hon. Nwgu whose bid to go to the green chambers in 2019 failed won the election with 177 votes.
This means the entrepreneur will takeover from former deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu.
Three time member of the House of Representatives, Ogbuefi Ozomgbachi came second with 53 votes while Mrs. Akuabata Njeze came a distant 3rd with three votes.
Earlier, JOURNALIST101 reported that Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi won the ticket of the PDP to represent Enugu North Senatorial Zone while Sen. Chimaroke Nnamani won his ticket to return to the Red chamber for the third time.
