Hon. Prince Ekenedilichukwu Nwanjoku has congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for emerging the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Enugu North Senatorial Zone. Barr Peter Mba, the governorship candidate and others, for emerging victoriously on the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, primaries in Enugu State.
Hon Nwanjoku who is the son of Enugu State PDP pioneer Chairman, HRM, Igwe Dr. Onyioha Nwanjoku (late), also congratulated, Barr Peter Mba, the governorship candidate, Sen. Chimaroke Nnamani and others that emerged the candidates of the party in the just concluded primary elections in the state.
Hon. Ekene Nwanjoku, in a congratulatory sent to newsmen over the weekend, said the processes is a true reflection of the wishes of the masses.
He stated that, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has again, shown his outstanding commitment to peace and total loyalty to PDP, adding that the primaries made the party stronger and united in the state.
He stated that, Ugwuanyi’s landslide victory in Enugu North Senatorial Zone was a thank-you by his people for his landmark and remarkable works in their zone and across the state.
“I want to thank God for making it possible for our Governor, to supervise one of the best primary elections ever held in Nigeria”
“Our Governor Showed his commitment by adhering to the democratic norms and principles, once more by making sure that the PDP’s primary elections in Enugu State was a reference point to all political parties and a creme de la creme of what a standard party primary election should be.
“I am very happy that, his people, appreciated his good works by giving him over 100% support, to be their Senatorial flag bearer. It is a sign that, our Governor is loved by all and also another sign that, more responsibilities towards his people awaits him.
“I am very happy, that he ensured that, Enugu is provided with a Gubernatorial candidate whose profile frightens other candidates. It has made PDP more united and stronger,” he said.
He assured the governorship flag bearer, Barr. Mba, of all the necessary support needed to make his election very successful.
