The police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) Rivers state have honoured it’s Stakeholders over their immense Contribution, efforts, commitment and dedication towards the ongoing efforts of the Nigeria Police Force, NPF to cut the supply chains and conveyor belts of young minds involvement into unlawful societies (CULTISM) Substance and Drug Abuse ,Violent Behaviours and other vices through the POCACOV initiative.

Presenting the Award of honour to SP Nnamdi Omoni now the Divisional police officer Elimgbu Division Rivers state on 31/5/2022 by the Rivers state POCACOV Volunteer Club Chairman, Amb Eke Onwuka with his Team, he maintained that the recipient as a POCACOV Stakeholder was the immediate past police public Relations officer (PPR0) Rivers state who contributed immensely through his invaluable efforts and support of ‘POCACOV in my school ,POCACOV in my community and POCACOV in my family’ programmes which created a platform of youth value Reorientation, Renunciation of membership of unlawful societies (Cultism) and other vices as well as submission of dangerous weapons.

He also commended the Divisional police officer for the use of the instrumentality of POCACOV to drive the community policing framework for a safe, peaceful and secured communities within communities around his Areas of Responsibilities.

Responding, the recipient thanked the POCACOV Team on their numerous efforts and zeal for a greater society and assured of his continual support and partnership with POCACOV towards enduring that our young minds are saved from the claws of these evil.

Similarly one Engr (Chief ) sir Theophilus C. Ezeonodo the manager (marine ) Adamac group who is the model for POCACOV in my family activity was also honoured over his invaluable commitment, efforts and support towards reorienting our young minds by POCACOV for a greater society especially within Rivers state and it’s environs.

Presenting the POCACOV Award of excellence, the Chairman POCACOV Volunteer Club Rivers State, Amb Onwuka Eke thanked him for his numerous support and sponsorship of various POCACOV School 2 SCHOOL program and community peace building activities  involving parents, caregivers, guardians as well as teachers on matters to provide a leadership direction for young minds through Adult guidance and Responsive parenting.

Responding, the recipient Engr (Chief ) Ambassador Theophilus Ezeonodo on behalf of his family thanked the Nigeria police force on POCACOV initiative and commended POCACOV Team Rivers state led by Amb Onwuka Eke and Sp Abdullahi Yusuf Idi on their strong efforts and commitment towards helping to make our young minds meaningful through value Reorientation for a greater society.

POCACOV is NPF community policing initiative and public Relations Tool working with different stakeholders and multi Agencies (Non kinetic) and galvanizing their support and partnership as well as enhancing participation towards problem Solving, for a safe, peaceful and secured communities.
