48 hours after the one of the worst forms of terrorism was unleashed to Christian worshippers in Owo, Ondo State, the identities of the victims are beginning to emerge.
In a report by EverydayNews, a father and her daughter that hail from Enugu State were among those that were gruesomely murdered during the attack.
According to the report, the Ani family of Umuohagwu Obie AKU in Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State lost their son, Virginus Ani and his daughter Chidiogo Ani in the unfortunate incident.
Sources say the deceased wife and one of his children had attended the early morning service and returned safely before late Virginus, his son and daughter joined the subsequent church service during which the Hoodlums struck.
Our source disclosed that immediately his father fell to the ground following a gunshot, the son dived and rolled with him on the ground feigning to have been shot too.
Thus he was saved from the bullet of the blood thirsty invaders who also killed the deceased little daughter.
Over 50 worshippers are believed to have been slaughtered when terrorist invaded the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church towards the end of the Sunday Service.
