There’s tension in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State as Suspected Herdsmen has on Monday killed atleast two persons in the state.
The incident happened at about 4pm in Ikyungwa Tombo ward , near Ayilamo, Logo Local Government area in Benue State.
Reports have it that the deceased persons, a man and a woman identified as Bem Uhembe and Mungwa Zuzu, were returning from farm on motorcycle when the herdsmen attacked and shot them..
The herdsmen were said to have ambushed them on the road between Ikyungwa and Ayilamo, opening fire on them and killing them at the spot.
The corpses have been deposited at Ayilamo mortuary.
The area where the incident happened is farming settlement which have come under attack in the last six years.
