Abia State government says it has uncovered a well orchestrated plot by persons not happy with the development strides in the commercial city of Aba to hire trucks and dump wastes on the newly commissioned Osisioma Flyover.
The Osisioma flyover was recently commissioned by Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu and his Rivers State Counterpart Nyesom Wike.
Abia State ministry of environment said “the plot which is designed to make mess of the developmental strides of Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu is already dead on arrival as security agencies have been put on alert to apprehend the culprits.
“These enemies of our state intend to litter the entire place with wastes, take pictures of them and circulate on social media to taint the beautiful work of the state government in the area.
“Government hereby warns those behind this devilish plots to desist with it immediately, as anyone apprehended in this wicked act will be prosecuted.”
