Chijioke Edeoga, the Governorship candidate of the Labour Party, has won his Isi-Uzo Local Government Area.
According to the results announced, Edeoga garnered 12518 votes while the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gave a good account of itself in their opponents strong hold and polled 6381 votes.
So far the results of 8 local government areas has been announced. PDP has won in Uzo-Uwani, Ezeagu, Aninri and Udi LGAs while the Labour Party has recorded victory in Igboeze North, Oji-River, Igboetiti and Isi-Uzo local government areas.
