The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, alongside officials from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), made a strong presence at the Presidential Election Petition Court this morning.

Both Labour Party and the PDP are challenging the victory of President-elect Bola Tinubu in the presidential election held on February 25.

The focus of today’s proceedings at the Presidential Election Petition Court is to establish a streamlined hearing procedure for the petitions submitted by the PDP and the Labour Party.

These two parties aim to dispute the legitimacy of Bola Tinubu’s election win.

During the court session, the key agenda items include determining the schedule for the main petition, deciding the number of witnesses who will provide testimony, and allocating sufficient time for cross-examination.

Among the attendees at today’s hearing were officials from the Labour Party, including their presidential candidate Peter Obi, as well as representatives from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
