A former Two-Term Member & Chairman Committee on Aviation of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Barrister KGB Oguakwa, (SHR) has felicitated with Professor Eddyfloyd Igbo over his appointment as the Chairman, College of Health Technology Governing Council.
JOURNALIST101 recalls that that Dr. Igbo, a Professor of Criminology & former Dean, Faculty of Management & Social Sciences, IBB University, Lapai, Nigeria, was recently appointed and inaugurated as Chairman, Governing Council, Enugu State College of Health Technology Oji River by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, CON, Governor, Enugu State and Visitor, Enugu State College of Health Technology Oji River.
In the letter of appointment signed by the Secretary to the State Government Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya, his appointment is pursuant to Section 8 of the School of Health Technology Oji River Law, 2012, No.3, Laws of Enugu State, 2014, (as amended).
The Government expressed the hope that Enugu State will benefit immensely from his experience and hard work.
Professor Igbo hails from Umuome, Inyi, Oji-River L.G.A. of Enugu State.
Oguakwa in a congratulatory message made via his Twitter handle, expressed hope that Prof. Igbo will bring his expertise to bear and help reposition the school.
“I hope that, very much like your colleague Pro-Chancellors and Chairmen of Governing Councils of sister tertiary institutions, you will deploy your considerable intellectual and administrative sagacity to, along with your Council, quickly reposition this institution and bring about growth and development which are sorely and urgently required at the present time.”
