The Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria OMPAN, Delta Correspondence has congratulated the quintessential Vanguard Correspondents in Delta, Chief Sir Festus Ahon, KSc, on his appointment as the Chief Press Secretary to the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on Monday, May 29, 2023.
In a statement, signed by Comr. Peter Legacy and Comrade Akpovoke Otiti, Chairman and Secretary respectively, they thanked the new Governor for his careful selection in appointing Sir Festus Ahon whom they described as a thorough bred professional journalist who have distinguished himself in the cause of his career, and adjudged as the right man for the job by his colleagues.
Chief Sir Festus Ahon, a Knight of St. Christopher KSc, in the Anglican Communion and title Chief of the Urhobo ethnic nationality, until his appointment was the Vanguard Correspondent’s in Delta State.
