…Investiture of a new president to take place on November 11th, 2023

The Leadership Nsukka Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NSCCIMA) has reiterated their commitment to reviving the business community of Enugu North Senatorial Zone and make it as as attractive as it use to be in the past.

Speaking during a tour of Ingrace facility on Friday, Barr. Sam Otoboeze, the president of the chamber said they have all that’s needed to chant a new economic course for their people and Ingrace services has opened their eyes to new opportunities that’s available to them.

“The Nsukka Chamber of commerce is looking at how we can revive what have in the zone. We want to bring back our lost glory and revive businesses like Adada Settlement and other agricultural belts where we have competitive advantage.

“We’re committed to getting local and international investors to explore the enormous resources and this resonates with the manifesto of our Governor, Peter Mbah. This will in turn, get our very energetic youths engaged in productive ventures. We have honest young minds, the Labour is really cheap and these are what investors are looking for.”

The President reiterated that the chamber is about bringing back the brains they’re reputed for, while noting that they’re not unmindful of the security situation, stating that measures are already in place to address this concern.

On the tour of the Ingrace facility, Barr. Otoboeze expressed satisfaction with what the founder; Chief Chinedu Onu who’s also one of their sons is doing.

Speaking after the tour of agriculture machinery section of the facility, he said “I feel very satisfied and this is an interesting moment for us because what i never knew that what we saw today exists and it’s a confirmation of the saying that we have gold yet wallow in hunger.

“We have good agricultural equipments here and there’s no reason we shouldn’t go into commercial agriculture. What I have seen here is making me have a second thought about going into farming because with agricultural boom, we can grow our economy.

He assured that the Chamber will take the conversation further to give Ingrace the needed patronage from both government institutions and other relevant organisations.

He also stated that the investiture of the new President of the chamber will take place on the 11th of November, 2023 at Adada Hall.

Speaking in the same vein, 1st Deputy-President of the Chamber, Brigadier-General Dr. Bona Ugwuja (also the Grand President, Knights of St. John International, Abuja), envisioned a more robust industrialization of the catchment area in synergy with the Enugu State Government’s productivity agenda going forward.

Also present at the gathering were the Director General of the Chamber, the 2nd Deputy Chairmen and other executives of the Chamber.
