The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reacted to reports of filled result sheets in some polling units in Kogi and Imo states in the ongoing Governorship elections.
Journalist101 reports that video of INEC officials showing up in polling units with pre-filled result sheets in favour of the ruling APC are currently trending on all social media platforms.
In a terse statement, the electoral body said they’re investigating the situation.
“Our attention has been drawn to a report that filled result sheets were discovered in some polling units in Kogi State. The Commission views this situation seriously,” the statement reads.
