The alumni association of the Institute of Management has congratulated the Dr Emeka Ejim over his appointment as the acting Rector of IMT Enugu by the executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr Peter Mbah.
The IMT Alumni Association in a congratulatory message signed by it’s Vice President Hon Monday Diamond Ani JP (Odoziobodo) admonished the Dr Ejim to leverage on his “vibrant and intellectual administrative endowment on his new position so as to hit the ground running and improving the academic and administrative standards of the Institute.”
Hon Ani who was a former President of the Student Union Government(SUG) and often adjudged as the best SUG President in the history of IMT said Dr Emeka Ejim is students and lectures friendly.
His words; “Dr Ejim is student and lectures friendly, he is youthful, vibrant and intellectually sound and I admonish him to, within this period, apply these traits in the management of IMT both in the academic and administrative standards, even as we in the Alumni Association look forward to synergize with his administration so as to attract external supports and interventions to the Institution and in total raise the academic and moral standards of IMT in all spheres.
“Hon Ani also used this medium to commend the Executive Governor of Enugu State HE Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for his love for education, keen interest on the school and quick interventions so far towards overhauling and wholesomely raising the academic standard of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT).
