…Warn criminals to think twice before setting foot in Enugu State
As Enugu State eagerly anticipates the grand unveiling of its new Command and Control Centre, heads of security agencies have praised Governor Peter Mbah for his monumental investment in the safety of citizens and property. They issued a stark warning to criminals: stay away, for crime-fighting in Enugu has just become far more precise and efficient.
The security chiefs did not hold back in their admiration for Governor Mbah, hailing him as “a no-nonsense leader with zero tolerance for security lapses.” Their convictions were bolstered after a thorough tour of the cutting-edge Command and Control Centre, where state-of-the-art technology—including sophisticated AI-enabled cameras—are being installed throughout the region. This formidable arsenal spells an ominous fate for any would-be criminal.
Speaking for his colleagues, Commissioner of Police Kanayo Uzuegbu described Governor Mbah as a dynamic leader determined to ensure peace reigns in the state. “After our strategy meeting, we knew we had to see this Command and Control Centre,” he shared. “What we witnessed was nothing short of astonishing. The sophistication of the equipment here is phenomenal.
“From this command hub, we’ll be able to pinpoint threats and respond before criminals even realize what’s happening. We’ll move like shadows, swift and silent.”
Uzuegbu lauded the centre as one of the most significant advancements a state government could achieve, emphasizing it reflects the governor’s genuine dedication to his people.
“This innovation will dramatically streamline our operations. Areas once out of reach will now fall within our grasp, reducing the burdens that have long plagued our efforts.
“My message to the citizens is clear: rest easy and carry on with your lives. Any threats to the state’s security will be met with unwavering resolve,” he assured.
In closing, Uzuegbu urged community leaders, clergy, and parents to join the fight against crime. “I implore our royals, religious leaders, and families to advocate for peace. Encourage your children and communities to choose the path of good and to steer clear of those who lure them down the path of crime, where nothing but despair awaits.”
