Receiving the award on behalf of the Managing Director, Mr. Mathew Nwiru, an Executive Assistant at Powell Homes, expressed gratitude for the recognition. He also assured that the company will continue expanding its services to make homeownership accessible to more people across the nation.
“This award represents not just my achievement, but the collective hard work and dedication of my entire team. Together, we’ve aimed to provide the highest level of service to our clients, and I am deeply humbled by this acknowledgment.”
Comrade Johnpaul Anih, the convener of the event and author of Beyond Boundaries: Rethinking Nigeria’s Future, took the opportunity to stress the necessity of institutional reforms in the country.
He pointed out that Nigeria stands at a pivotal moment demanding decisive and visionary leadership to instigate meaningful change.
“Our institutions urgently require reform, and this book is a call to action for every stakeholder to rethink how we can reshape Nigeria’s future,” he asserted.
Comrade Anih elaborated on the book’s central themes, warning that without unity and collaborative efforts from all corners of society, the nation risks further decline.
“This book is not merely a critique of our current state; it is a roadmap for our future. Now is the time for everyone to unite in revitalizing our country and securing a brighter future for the next generation,” Anih urged, calling on both public and private sectors to rise to the challenge of nation-building.
