Before the selfish partisan interests of some highly placed and exposed Nigerian politicians put Nigerian state on collision cause of complete instability and destruction of the fragile civilian liberties of Nigerians in Nigeria, it is necessary that Nigerian President do something quickly to save Nigeria from further instability.

It is no longer news that since the 2023 election and the conclusions of electoral disputes, troubles have been brewing in Kano and Rivers States.
There seems to be power play in these two states. There seems to be the power play of the Federal mighty politicians vs. The state mighty politicians in the fighting equations.

In both of these fights of political supremacy, there are many federal high court orders vs The state high court orders. In both of these fights, there appears to be no clear-cut neutrality of the federal government of Nigeria headed by the president and commander in chief of the armed forces.

The general perception is that those politicians in Abuja having issues with their state chief executives are enjoying the backing and support of the federal government of Nigeria, headed by Mr. President. Whether that is true or not is not what I can conclude with authoritative finality. What is clear, however, is the perception of partiality of the federal government taking sides with politicians working at the federal level.

The selective manner the Nigerian police goes about in the alleged obedience of court orders or alleged orders of the Federal High Courts should worry any right thinking members of the society.

Nigerian police have many judgements and orders against them and in favour of Nigerians, which they have not obeyed and enforced. The manner in which Nigerian politicians are destroying the fragile freedom of Nigerians by their selfish personal interests must worry any right thinking person in the society.

We can not be pretending that all is well with the systems we operate. Nigerian politicians have destroyed very many fabrics of our society. They have destroyed politics and made it dirty. They have destroyed governance. They have destroyed justice systems and captured almost irredeemably the institutions of justice. They have colonised our natural resources and security of our state and our being. What will these politicians govern if they destroy Nigerian state. This is not a time for Nigerian president to be on looker.

Democracy is not about one man show. Democracy is not about the selfish interests of individual politicians. Democracy is about the rule of law and due process. Democracy is not rooted in lawlessness. Democracy is not about the personal comfort of any individual politician. Democracy is about the well-being of people.

Democracy is about respect for the rule of law. Democratic is not about personal egocentric audacity of arrogance of intosticating drunkenness of godfatherism. Democracy is rooted in the sovereignty of the people. Let Nigerian President act now before it is too late.
