The People’s Democratic Party, Abia State chapter has expelled Senator Adolphus Wabara, the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairman, from the party.
Confirming the development to JOURNALIST101, the Chairman of the party in the state, Elder Abraham Amah said; “The expulsion followed a thorough review of his recent activities, which were deemed to be against the interests of the party in the state.”
Elder Amah added that “Senator Wabara was found to have engaged in actions that undermined the unity and stability of the PDP in Abia, including alleged anti-party activities. His continued defiance of party directives and alignment with interests that are detrimental to the PDP’s progress in the state led to the decision by the leadership.
“This action is in line with the party’s commitment to upholding discipline and ensuring that all members work towards the collective success of the PDP. While this decision was not taken lightly, it became necessary to protect the integrity of the party and maintain its relevance in Abia politics.”
