The award was presented over the weekend by the Ladies of St. Mulumba Holy Cross Sub-Council, Enugu, in recognition of the council’s exemplary performance and significant contributions to community development and inclusiveness.
Under the leadership of Engr. Pst. Beloved-Dan Obi Anike, the Enugu East Local Government Council has made remarkable strides since taking office. In just six months, the administration has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to rebuilding and repositioning the council, setting a course aimed at enhancing the future and transforming the lives of residents within the Enugu East Local Government Area (LGA).
This award reflects the growing recognition of Enugu East Local Government Council’s efforts, both locally and nationally. The current administration’s achievements and dedication suggest that further commendations from the citizens of Enugu East, Enugu State, and Nigeria as a whole are likely in the future.
Receiving the award on behalf of the council, the Secretary, Barr. Uche Mbaeke, expressed gratitude to the church for this honour. He reaffirmed the council’s commitment to delivering transformative leadership that will yield positive impacts on the community and ensure sustainable development for the local government.
