Toni Icheku has been labelled as a “perpetual harbinger of falsehood” and a “merchant of blackmail” by political commentators following his latest attempts to implicate Senator Austin Akobundu in unfounded allegations.
Jude Ndukwe, a prominent commentator, stated, “What manner of man will go to the extent of manipulating pictures and doctoring images just to blackmail people for pecuniary gains? Toni Icheku has turned himself into an expert in such wicked and inhuman ventures.”
Senator Akobundu, known for his gentle disposition and peaceful conduct, has been unfairly targeted by Toni Icheku’s claims, which suggest he ordered the manhandling of an individual. Ndukwe remarked, “This concocted allegation falls flat on its face, as it is completely out of character for a man celebrated for his integrity.”
The accusations have been accompanied by poorly doctored images, which Ndukwe described as the “product of a grossly amateurish enterprise.” He further added, “Icheku has eternally etched his name in the hall of shame reserved for those lacking basic scruples.”
Concerns have been raised about Icheku’s mental well-being, with Ndukwe suggesting that “his penchant for mendacity, mischief, and malice is fast draining him physically, emotionally, and mentally.” He urged Icheku to seek “proper psychiatric evaluation” to address what he termed a troubling pattern of behaviour.
