President Bola Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, former Governor of Abia State and current Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, as he marks his 65th birthday.
In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu reflected on their longstanding friendship and shared dedication to the progress of Nigeria, highlighting their common background as part of the “Class of ’99” Governors.
The President praised Senator Kalu for his unwavering patriotism and commitment to the nation, recalling their decades of collaboration characterised by mutual respect despite political differences.

Furthermore, President Tinubu acknowledged Senator Kalu’s entrepreneurial spirit, noting his successful establishment of Slok Holding and his investments across various sectors, including banking and media, which have contributed significantly to job creation in the country.
